Solo Exhibition announced - 'Exposed'
July 30, 2017
From 13.08.17- 08.10.17, I will be showcasing 12 pieces in a solo exhibition in Spitalfields, London.
This exhibition uses abstraction and portraiture to dissect the theme of exposure, both of the form and also the subject's sensation of being exposed. My work exposes fragility and vulnerability as well as traditional beauty norms. In search of a more “conscious appreciation of the form”, this journey in representing the figure evolves from traditional representation of forms to tactile abstract, often to the point where the figure is lost entirely.
